George Darby Hotel is a much-loved icon here in Newcastle and is known for their good food that is more than just “pub food”. After a new head chef joined the team early 2026, a new era began, and so did a new elevated menu that deserved to be shared with the locals and shot professionally to do its due diligence. The brief for me was to capture their quality produce, intention, and premium food through professional editorial style photography and studio lighting to be used for their marketing material.
