Having worked in the industry as a professional photographer since 2013, I have been so fortunate to work with many genres of photography. Now, present day, with too many amazing shoot opportunities and experiences to count, had within that time - I know where my specialty (and heart) lies. . .

But what is…
Traditionally, editorial photography means the images accompany an article in a publication.
But, images can also exist on their own to imply a narrative. What distinguishes editorial photography from other genres, is that there’s an element of storytelling to it, requiring more planning and more preparation.
Editorials are to highlight a specific subject matter like a person, restaurants or architecture - and therefore is photographed in a more intimate or elaborate way that highlights the narrative.
It’s about capturing those in-between moments and details. Not only focusing on whoever or whatever’s in front of the camera, but on capturing what’s around them too.
Almost any subject can be photographed in an editorial style. It all comes down to the story to be told, the tone of the narrative, and the subject at hand.

Photography
Event photography is the art of capturing high-quality images during important occasions, like weddings or birthdays, to corporate events like workshops, award ceremonies, or even music festivals.
Event photographers are like documentarians. The goal from any event is to compile a variety of posed and candid photographs, of both people and scenery, that tell a cohesive story from that event.
Most events run to a schedule, therefore, working to a shot list is often the way to ensure those must have key-moments aren’t missed.
The real art though is being able to capture the shot list, whilst also capturing small details and candid shots that are outside of that shot list.
That’s why I keep it organic! Or special moments that are unique to the event might be missed.
Lifestyle
Photography
Lifestyle photography is an umbrella term for any style of photography that aims to portray people living their lives.
Often to capture certain milestones within your lives, and as such, maternity, engagement, newborn, or family sessions are the more popular choice.
A lifestyle photograph might include elements of landscape, portraiture, or street photography, but unlike documentary photography, (which captures historical moments and real people in everyday life) lifestyle images create the appearance of reality — capturing the feel of candid, beautiful moments and real-life events.
Lifestyle sessions are often meticulously planned, with a lot of effort put into creating effortless-looking images.
Lifestyle photography is aspirational, but it’s real. Clients always want it to feel like a real moment captured - that wasn’t posed - but it very much is!

Editorials
- basic from $750
The subject matter for an editorial can be anything from a restaurant, to an artists, an architect, or boutique business.
And whether the images are to accompany a written article or not, an editorial shoot is for you, if you’re after a more unique, creative vision that’ll determine the style and overall tone for the shoot.
A basic editorial shoot includes the following general services;
60-90min photography coverage.
Pre-shoot planning, logistics, and mood board.
Private, Online Gallery.
Downloadable images.
Since each editorial is unique in nature and each client’s scope of work differs from the next, a personalised quote will be provided after enquiry.
Lifestyle
- basic from $600
The various types of lifestyle sessions I currently offer are motherhood, maternity, newborn, engagement, family, or extended family sessions.
A basic lifestyle shoot includes the following general services and deliverables;
60min photography coverage.
Pre-shoot planning and logistics.
Either an in-home session, beach, or bush location.
Private Online Gallery.

There are two, different types of events I shoot - personal and business events. Personal events like weddings or birthday celebrations, whilst business can be anything from workshops, festivals, gala dinners, to grand openings.
A basic event shoot includes the following general services and deliverables;
60min photography coverage
Pre-shoot planning and logistics.
Private Online Gallery.
20 high-res images chosen via online gallery for digital download.
